Biography:

Gigi Lazzarato Getty (Gigi Gorgeous) is a YouTube star, transgender activist, author, television personality, actress, model and

LGBTQIA+ icon. In 2017, her award-winning feature-length documentary This is Everything: Gigi Gorgeous premiered at the Sundance Film Festival chronicling her life and transition. Gigi has been named to Time Magazine’s “25 Most Influential People on the Internet” and “Forbes 30 Under 30” lists. Gigi previously launched the podcast, Queerified, to highlight what it was like growing up queer; the successes and lessons of life; and how to celebrate queer joy every day.  

In 2019, Gigi released her hilariously candid memoir He Said, She Said: Lessons, Stories and Mistakes from My Transgender Journey. Featuring personal stories and shockingly vulnerable moments of her transition, it gives readers a close look into the journey to embracing her true self. Gigi works closely with several LGBTQ organizations including GLAAD, Los Angeles LGBT Center, The Trevor Project, and Children’s Hospital of LA Transyouth Program, and is committed to advancing protections and support for the LGBTQ community.    

Gigi released her second book last year alongside best friend Gottmik (a.k.a. Kade Gottlieb), titled The T Guide, on May 16, 2023, dedicated to LGBTQ+ youth, their parents, allies, and those looking to educate themselves on the trans experience. The book is uniquely formatted as conversational dialogue, while also acting as a guide, that aims to shine light on the hilarious yet authentic stories both Gigi and Gottmik encountered during their transitions and beyond. The book received special recognition and support from GLAAD, and also includes anecdotes and advice from advocates, allies, and activists across the gender spectrum including Paris Hilton, Amit Paley, Adam Lambert, and Jazz Jennings to name a few.   

Gigi was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and now resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Nats Getty.

Athina Tsagkaraki was born in Athens and grew up in Karditsa. After her studies in the  Film School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki she circled back to Athens in where she is living the past 9 years. She cannot identify her job description as she’s been a columist, a film and theatre critic, and many more things until she became a screenwriter for greek television while in the meantime her presence at social media became very strong. Her followers love the authenticity of her content as she speaks about everything a queer woman with mental health struggles needs to deal with in Greece in 2024. She hopes, one day, the world can be a safe place for every living soul.

My name is Tim Küsters, Mr Gay Europe 2023/2024, I am from the Netherlands. Over the past years I have been advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights by creating awareness and drive change. As Mr Gay Europe I work very hard on my campaign Be Proud. Be Strong. Be Mentally Healthy. This campaign is about Mental Health within the LGBTQIA+ community. Facts tell us that the LGBTQIA+ community faces more mental health struggles and experience loneliness and depression more often. By creating awareness, reducing stigma, fostering empathy and promote resources I will try to help as much people throughout Europe as possible.

Biography:

Gazelle is currently the funniest woman on the internet and a trans showcase for trans women. With a noticeably good feel for people, she humorously tells us in her videos what is “typically German” and also explains her transition as a trans woman as well as pronouns and gendering. Gazelle has been a content creator on TikTok and Instagram for 2 years; on LinkedIn, she also sheds light on modern topics in the world of work, such as modern recruiting for Generation Z and diversity & inclusion topics.

Biography:

Gialu Mx (they/he) is a content creator & singer from Berlin. They have been sharing their journey as a non-binary person and spreading awareness since 2021 and created a community of over 1,7 Million people across their channels. The positive representation of queer people helped him to accept himself and he wishes to give that forward. People deserve to feel comfortable in their bodies and be loved by themselves and others the way they are.“
