Biography:

Sofia Zachariadi is co-founder of the LGBTQIA+ Refugees Welcome and Emantes – International LGBTQIA+ Solidarity initiatives. At Emantes, Sofia actively supports LGBTQIA+ refugees and asylum seekers through the “Emantes’ Support Line,” a helpline connecting those seeking assistance and services with internal and external resources.

Parvi Palmou Head of the Department of Health for Trans and Intersex Families at Greek Transgender Support Association

Biography:

Parvy Palmou received her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis in 2007. She is an accredited E.A.G.T Gestalt Therapist, working privately in Athens Greece. For the last 14 years she is Head of the Department of Health for Trans and Intersex Families at the Greek Transgender Support Association where she practices group and individual gestalt therapy with transgender, intersex and non-binary people and their families. She is an international trainer and a regular columnist in various newspapers, magazines and websites and has achieved several publications.  She is a former lecturer at the University of the Aegean for the LGBTQI+ Gestalt Affirmative Counseling Program and acurrent trainer at the Hreek Focusing center. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Bolton performing research on trans access to health and wellbeing.
