Halkidiki

Halkidiki is the most popular summer destination, especially for the residents of Northern Greece and the Balkans more broadly. Many of its beaches have been awarded the Blue Flag over time. Halkidiki satisfies even the most demanding visitor as it offers countless nightlife venues, ultra-luxurious hotels, and very nice camping sites to find the relaxation one seeks in their daily life.

First leg: The first leg is famous for its nightlife and the enchanting view of the trees and the deep blue sea. You must visit Kallithea, which is one of the most sought-after areas in Halkidiki. It buzzes with life during the summer months, and you certainly can't get bored there. It has countless bars and clubs, water sports, and a very nice pedestrian street filled with restaurants and various kinds of shops. Additionally, Pefkochori is the perfect place to unwind from city life. The pace is more relaxed but equally entertaining.

Second leg: The second leg is no less compared to the first; it's just that the pace is more relaxed, and the beaches are in some cases more impressive. The area of Sithonia with its enchanting beaches is undoubtedly the jewel of the second leg. The beaches of Karidi, Vourvourou, Kavourotrypes, Trani Ammoudia, Toroni, and Elia are a very good example.

Halkidiki has countless options, but these are some of the most popular. The distance from Thessaloniki is relatively short, so you have plenty of time to explore it.
