This exercise aims to highlight the bias behind common questions often directed at LGBTQ+ individuals by posing them to heterosexual people. The group members are invited to our morning informational show to represent the “straight community” and answer questions that challenge their heterosexuality in the same way that other sexual orientations are often questioned. Through this exercise, members understand how prejudices and stereotypical questions can be harmful and absurd, promoting understanding and empathy towards LGBTQ+ individuals.
