The period started with a lot of publicity due to the news. The public consultation and the vote on the extension of the cohabitation agreement to same-sex couples in the parliament brought the community and consequently the organization to the fore. Many journalists were contacted for interviews, statements, comments and tributes throughout December, before and after the law was passed.
The journalists’ requests were mainly for experiential statements by same-sex couples who intended to enter into a cohabitation agreement, so the organization acted as an intermediary to bring the community into contact with journalists.
The task was not easy and ended up requiring a lot of time and effort, as the right people had to be found, people who would combine different qualities.
