Biography:
Stella Belia is 58 years old, the biological mother of two boys – according to their own statement – but also of many others who see her as the “mother of the group”. She defines herself as a woman, a lesbian, an activist, the president of the Rainbow Families and a founding or ordinary member and of other LGBTI+ civil society organisations (Proud Parents, LGBT, Colourful School, Rainbow Seniors, etc.) trade unionist, former President of the Korydallos Teachers’ Association – Ag. Varvaras, kindergarten teacher specialising in Theater in Education, member of the World Organization for Preschool Education – OMER and vice-president in this term in the Regional Council of Central Greece. Member of the National Committee for the Strategy of LGBTI+ Equality, academic speaker at many university institutions and schools, trainer of the EKDDA and other organisations such as PRO-PO, the Ministry of Justice and the National School of Judges and many others that make her who she is in the end. One “of the road” since it is on the road and in the action in the field that consciousnesses are finally formed, fermentation takes place and changes are made.
Alessia Crocini President of Famiglie Arcobaleno
Biography:
Alessia Crocini is an activist for LGBTQIA+ rights and has been the President of Famiglie Arcobaleno (Italian LGBTQIA+ parents’ association) since 2021. Under the Meloni government, the first post-fascist administration in Italian republican history, rainbow families are under attack. Famiglie Arcobaleno stands alongside families to protect the rights of children with LGBTQIA+ parents, which are not yet recognized in Italy, as well as equal marriage rights. She is also the proud lesbian mother of Levon, 10 years old, and the screenwriter of the first Italian film about surrogacy.
Viktoria Kalfaki Head of Public Sector / Pride EMEA Lead of Google
Biography:
Viktoria Kalfaki is a technology leader passionate about digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). As the Public Sector Sales Lead for Google Cloud in Greece and Cyprus, she helps organizations modernize their operations and improve citizen services through cloud solutions.
With over 18 years of experience, Viktoria has a proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and promoting the integration of AI into business operations. Recently, she has taken on an additional role as a Steering committee member under PRIDE, focusing on activism in EMEA. This new role reflects her commitment to fostering inclusivity and belonging within the tech industry and beyond.
Viktoria is a frequent speaker and panelist on topics related to technology, DEI, and LGBTQ+ rights. As an out and proud member of the LGBTQ+ community with a family, she brings a unique perspective and passion to her work. She is also a member of several Google initiatives that empower women and underrepresented groups. She holds an MBA in Innovation and Leadership from the University of Derby.
Eleni Maravelia Board Member of the Network of European LGBTIQ* Families Associations
Biography:
Eleni Maravelia works as an e-commerce manager in Spain’s skincare industry and is a
passionate advocate for LGBTIQ family rights. Since 2014, she has campaigned for
recognition and equality, serving on NELFA’s board since 2017 and as its president from
2019 to 2023. Now as treasurer, she continues to champion cross-border recognition for
rainbow families in the EU and has been a contributor to Greece’s marriage equality
movement.
As a dedicated partner and mother of two, Eleni embodies the values she advocates for,
striving for a world where every family is celebrated. Her leadership at NELFA and her work
towards inclusive legislation reflect her commitment to the dignity and rights of all.
